split-ends

split-ends. they come no matter how much we like or dislike them. they come. sometimes just one or two. other times, they come by the hand full.

those split-ends are like certain “events” that take place in life, usually bad ones. sometimes they are small: getting in trouble at school or a favorite pet dying. and sometimes they are much bigger: a friend’s death or a boyfriend/girlfriend break up. or, maybe it’s something we do and know shouldn’t: dating the wrong person, drinking too much on the weekends, or maybe it’s just back-talking to a parent. because we live in a sinful, human world, we can’t stop these “events” from happenings.

split-ends. we need to cut them off, yet we can’t do that ourselves. if we try, we fail and our hair ends up looking even worse than what it started out as. so, we go to the hairdresser. the hairdresser already knows how to fix the problem. in fact, the hairdresser already knew what your needed done before you walked into the room. the hairdresser is good at what he does and takes care of the split-ends for you completely.

those split-ends are like certain “events” that take place in life. we need, must, cut (get rid of) these events. but, we can’t do it ourselves. if we try, we fail miserably and our “event” becomes bigger and more messed up than before. so, we go to Jesus. Jesus already knows how to fix our “event,” our problem. in fact, Jesus already knew what we needed before we asked Him to help. Jesus is good at what He does and takes care of our “events,” for us completely.

split-ends. split-ends backfire on our hair’s growth and health, causing more problems all around.

those split-ends are like certain “events” in life. they backfire on our growth, causing more problems all around.

split-ends. the funny thing about split-ends is that the more we cut them off, the faster our hair actually grows.

those split-ends are like certain “events” in life, when we get rid of them, we grow faster, not only in personality, but spiritually as well.

don’t let these “events” take control of you.
stop them.
go to the One who already knows how to fix them.
go to the One who is good at what He does.
go to Jesus.
grow.
